After Glow (Harmony Series book 2)

by Jayne Castle.

As I mentioned I jumped right into this one and couldn't put it down. I spent the whole day reading it and as I suspected, all stories came together in the end leaving nothing open - very satisfying. I really like this series so far and I jumped into number 3 right before bed for a quick start :)

After Dark (Harmony Series book 1)

by Jayne Castle.

This is the first in the futuristic world of Harmony series. I had already read book 5 so I was really looking forward to this one. It was very good, as usual I could tell something was important as soon as it was brought up - stories and hints are not given unless there is a reason. However at the end of this one you are definitely left with open story lines. I was very confused about this until I realized that the second book is actually a continuation with the same characters! I was very happy about that :)

I spent Sunday morning finishing this one up and dove right into the second one (also finishing that by Sunday night) - i did nothing but read on Sunday - it was wonderful!

Eclipse Bay

by Jayne Ann Krentz.

I got this book for Christmas, it's the first of a trilogy by JAK. It's a good one, the only annoying bit is the Madison vs. Harte type Romeo and Juliet references that get kind of old but otherwise I really liked the book and already purchased books 2 and 3 so I can read them next!

Little Women

by Loisa May Alcott

This is a long one and when it went on sale on Audible I jumped at the chance to finally "read" it. I love this book, love the characters, the story telling, everything. The reader was great and kept me very interested. Even knowing what was going to happen, I still had the same reactions I did when I first watched the movie. Now of course I want to watch the movie again!

Wait Until Midnight

by Amanda Quick.

This one was a great mystery, I thoroughly enjoyed and followed along guessing until close to the end as it wasn't a complete give away. Being one of her newer works, the characters are a little easier for me to relate to, being less tied to Victorian era beliefs. This was extremely pleasant to read.

Reckless

by Amanda Quick.

Another good one of course. I really liked the female lead but they definitely brought up how "reckless" she was a lot. The only part I didn't enjoy in this one was essentially the arranged marriage. My feminist side just scoffed at the very idea behind that part. That's my only issue with the Victorian age mysteries, I prefer the ones with more "forward" thinking about women's roles in society.

Rendezvous

by Amanda Quick.

This one was extremely predictable but of course engaging and I had a great time reading it. I really liked Pompeia the woman's club and the strong female lead character. As always this was a quick read and very enjoyable.
