by Jayne Ann Krentz.
A strange concept, kind of sci-fi-ish but a quick easy read which is always enjoyable.
Not my favorite but doing it as an audiobook is the way to go when they aren't 'can't put down books' :)

Slightly Dangerous (slight series book 6)
by Mary Balogh.
Finally it's Wulf's story and it starts at a house party (he never goes to house parties but is feeling lonely after all his siblings have recently or not so recently become happily married). He meets Christine, a widow. Neither of them want to like each other but of course in the end things work out. I really enjoyed this one and it tied up some loose ends of some side characters which was nice.

Death Du Jour (temperance book 2)
by Kathy Reichs.
The second book started out much more slowly than the first but the ending was pretty fast paced and interesting. They are good mysteries and I kind of like that these are abridged although I do wonder what I'm missing out on.
One more to go in the set that I got from a friend!

Slightly Sinful (slightly series book 5)
by Mary Balogh.
Book 5 follows Alleyne Bedwyn who was presumed dead in the previous book. He winds up in a brothel in Brussels with no memory of who he is. Rachel York, the woman who saved him ends up entering a fake marriage with Alleyne (this series is full of fake engagements so why not a fake marriage) :). Of course in the end he does remember who he is (or is helped to remember), and it completes the scene from Morgan's story where she sees a man standing at the house just before her wedding breakfast (it's Alleyne). It was a nice book to round out the family, leaving only the Duke of Bewcastle left to go!
